£38.00

Date: Saturday 25th April 2026
Time: 12:00–1:30pm (plus a wee bit extra if needed)
Location: West Linton Village Centre, Raemartin Square, West Linton, EH46 7ED
Price: £38 per person
Capacity: 6 participants (plus 2 extra if demand is high)

Hello lovely people!

I’m so excited to invite you to a relaxed and friendly afternoon workshop where you’ll make two beautiful handmade LED tealight lanterns — perfect to brighten your home or gift to someone special.

These workshops are a wonderful way to enjoy some creative “me time”, learn a new skill, and have a good natter along the way.

I’ll guide you step-by-step, with plenty of hands-on help (and possibly a biscuit or two!)

What’s Included

  • All the components for TWO lanterns — lantern kits and LED tealights

  • Wrapping to take your lanterns home safely

  • A printed instruction sheet so you can make more at home

  • Tea, coffee, and biscuits

  • A wee thank-you discount code for purchases from my online shop in May

Fabric Information

You are encouraged to bring your own smooth cotton fabric (twill, satin weave or similar works best).

Minimum fabric size per lantern: 350mm x 150mm

Don’t have fabric? No problem — I’ll have a selection of my own printed fabrics available on the day for £5 per piece. It will be a lucky dip, so matching fabrics cannot be guaranteed.

A Few Things to Know

  • Suitable for ages 16+

  • We’ll be using scissors and working in some tight spaces

  • Some hand strength and dexterity is required

  • It’s often easier to assemble the lanterns standing up, so wear comfortable shoes

I’ll be there to support you throughout!

Parking & Arrival

Spaces at the Village Centre are very limited. Please be mindful of residents and ensure access to Raemartin Square and the lane behind the centre is kept clear. Do not park at the back door.

If possible, walk to the centre, be dropped off, or park on Lower Green Road. Here’s a Google Maps pin for reference.

Arriving a few minutes early is perfect so we can start promptly!

After Booking

Once your payment is complete, you’ll receive a standard confirmation email. Then within 24 hours you will receive one from me personally. In this email there will be a short workshop details form to complete so I can prepare properly for the day.

All information is strictly confidential, used only for organising the workshop, and will be deleted after the event.

I can’t wait to craft with you — grab your spot before they’re gone!
